Stunning 1962 Solid 14ct Gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual Gents Vintage Watch

The Overview

This is a simply beautiful example of the solid 14ct gold Rolex Oyster dating from 1962. The solid 14ct gold case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear – there’s a very shallow and small ding on the outside caseback which is barely noticeable. The original Rolex signed champagne pearlescent dial has been professionally refinished to the highest possible standards and is classically Rolex. The applied gold batons and original gold dauphine hands provide the softest contrast to the dial and are perfectly framed by the solid gold fluted bezel. The super high grade Rolex signed automatic movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. To complete this beautiful piece we’ve added a new, super high quality, dark brown Hirsch and Sonning Vintage Watches ‘London’ alligator skin strap with an aftermarket gold plated Rolex buckle. These straps retail at £195.00; we also hold the Hirsch franchise so can supply any material/colour inn their range.

Watches of this quality and in this condition are extremely rare and highly sought after – if history is any judge they will only increase in value.

As mentioned, it has just been serviced by my watchmaker and, in view of the high-grade Swiss movement, I will include a 3 month guarantee on the movement which is long enough for you to assess the working order.
