Stunning Large Size (34.8 mm) 1969 Solid 18ct Gold Screw Back Automatic Patek Philippe 3445 Gents Vintage Watch

The Overview

Patek Philippe are the world’s most prestigious and sought after wristwatch and hold just about every record for the rarest and most expensive watch in the world.

This 3445 Calatrava dates from 1969 and is in near flawless condition. The heavy solid 18ct yellow gold screw back case in excellent condition with only the most minimal signs of wear. The original steel pearlescent Patek signed dial is untouched and again is in excellent condition. The applied gold hour batons along with the slim gold hands and subsidiary second provide the softest contrast to the gleaming case and create a classically understated look. The original Patek signed automatic movement is again in excellent condition – please see the solid gold rotor…. Our watchmaker has just serviced it and we will give a 12 month guarantee. The watch also comes with a genuine solid 18ct gold Patek Philippe bracelet which is in exceptional condition – the Extract of Archives confirms it was replaced during a Patek service in 2013. This is NOT an integrated bracelet so the watch could be worn with it or standard strap. I would guess this bracelet would be around £7500 – £8500…..

We also have a genuine period Patek Philippe box and along with the Patek Extract of Archives which dates from October 4th 2016.

This is a simply beautiful example from the world’s most famous watchmaker. Finding Patek’s from this age, in this condition and as importantly this size – so many are 32 mm’s or 33 mm’s across the case – is so difficult. If history is any judge this will not only provide a stunning piece to wear and enjoy but also provide a fabulous investment.
