Stunning Oversize 1960’s Steel IWC with the Original Box & IWC Buckle Gents Vintage Watch

The Overview

This is a wonderful example of the beautifully elegant oversize (35 mm’s across the case excluding the winding crown) IWC from  the 1960’s. IWC are one of the most respected watchmakers in the world and have a reputation for the highest of quality along with a classically understated dial design. The solid steel case is in overall excellent condition but does have some minor oxidization on the case side (I’ve tried to capture this on the photographs and happy to send the originals). The original IWC signed crisp white dial is untouched and in near flawless condition. The raised steel hour batons and original ‘stick’ steel hands provide the softest contrast to the dial and blend perfectly with the gleaming case – it has a rounded lens which makes taking the pictures very difficult and please ignore any marks as they’re reflections . To complete this watch we’ve added a new black calf skin strap with a genuine steel IWC buckle. We hold the Hirsch franchise and can supply it with any material or colour you require. and Sonning Vintage Watches crocodile skin strap and steel buckle. The very high grade IWC signed manual wind movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. Very rarely we have the original IWC box – this in excellent condition on the inside but does have some tears at the corners on the outside.

This is a beautiful example of this iconic watch and if history is any judge it will only increase in value.

As mentioned, it has just been serviced by my watchmaker and, in view of the high-grade Swiss movement, I will include a 3 month guarantee on the movement which is long enough for you to assess the working order. Also, I offer a full refund if you are not entirely happy, as long as the watch is returned within seven days for the UK, twelve days if overseas, in the same condition.
