We are working with a UK based collector who has asked us to market a selection of his watches. As part of the offer each watch has had a full service and refurbishment by the UK’s leading watchmaker, Steven Hale Watch Restoration. Each watch will come with a 2 year guarantee from Steve Hale and a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity by Sonning Vintage Watches.
Patek Philippe are quite simply the most famous and most prestigious watchmaker in the world. They have broken pretty much every record in terms of accuracy, price, rarity and waiting lists. Founded in 1839 they created many of the most famous watches in the world.
This example is an extremely rare 35mm model in solid 18ct rose gold. The case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original Patek signed dial is untouched and has aged to a beautiful champagne/honey colour (we also have a WhatsApp video of the watch on my wrist if required). The applied rose gold Arabic hour numbers at the quarters with batons in between and rose gold hands along with the rose gold sub-second hand create a stunning look. The very high quality Patek signed manual wind movement is in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by SHWR. The watch sits on a new, dark brown leather strap with yellow gold plated buckle.
As few as 1 in 500 watches of this age have paperwork and we have the original sales certificate of origination showing the matching movement numbers. We also have a genuine Patek box from this period – this isn’t the box the watch came in but it would’ve been very similar.
This is an untouched watch from horology’s most famous name in collector condition with box and papers. A truly rare and beautiful piece.
