This is an extremely rare 1920’s Solid silver Rolex Officer’s watch. The solid silver 3 piece case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The case has 2 hinges on the non-crown side that allows the case back and front section to be opened. The original Rolex signed ivory/cream ‘red twelve’ dial has been professionally refinished and is in excellent condition with only a few minor signs of wear. The original Rolex signed manual wind movement is again in very good condition and has just gone a full service from the UK’s premier watchmaker, Steve Hale. It’ll come with their 2 year guarantee from 1/7/25. The watch currently sits on an open-ended black crocodile skin strap which is in poor condition so we’ve ordered a replacement.

These rarely come up for sale in this condition and the SHWR service gives complete peace of mind. Please bear in mind it is over 100 years old and isn’t an everyday watch. It will also gain/lose 2 to 3 minutes/day.

The case measures 33.5mm across excluding the crown and 43mm long including the swinging lugs. The inside case is signed ‘W&D’ – this is Wilsdorf and Davis, the founders of Rolex – ‘Rolex’ and the case number is ‘601989’.
