IWC are one of the most respected watchmakers in the World. Founded in 1868, it has become a Premier League brand for both the super quality movements and classic design. This 1955 IWC dress watch sums up the brand. The beautiful solid 18ct rose gold case is in near faultless condition with only the most minimal signs of wear. We believe the original ivory/cream dial has been professionally refinished to the highest possible standards and is classically elegant. The raised rose gold hour batons with numbers at the quarters and dark rose gold plated hands create a stunning look. With the domed lens it’s a difficult watch to capture and the first picture is the clearest representation – I have done a What’s App wrist video. The original IWC signed manual wind movement is in excellent condition and has just been serviced by SHWR. To complete this beautiful piece we’ve put the watch on a new, dark brown Hirsch leather strap with yellow gold plated Hirsch buckle.
