This is a beautiful example of the iconic Rolex Datejust from 1973 (3,56million serial number). The steel and solid rose gold (fluted bezel and crown 9heavily plated) case is in near faultless condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original and untouched Rolex signed ivory/cream dial is again in excellent condition. The applied rose gold hour batons and rose gold hands provide the softest contrast to the dial and are perfectly framed by the gleaming solid rose gold bezel. The very high grade Rolex signed chronometer standard automatic movement is again in excellent condition and has just been serviced by our professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a slightly later (1983) genuine Rolex steel with sold rose gold inserts Jubilee bracelet. The bracelet has significant sag and stretch but is aesthetically very good and wears well on the wrist. It’s also a great size at 8 inches. I’ve struggled to capture the beauty of this watch and have a wrist video if required (need your WhatsApp number).
This is a stunning watch and I’m happy to include a black or dark brown Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap if you’d rather it was on a strap (retail £235.00). We will include a 12 month guarantee on the movement.
