This is a beautiful example of the iconic Rolex Datejust from 1979. The solid steel case is in near faultless condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The stunning black Rolex signed dial is again in excellent condition with the gold hands and slim gold applied hour batons. The very high grade chronometer standard Rolex signed automatic movement has just been serviced but our watchmaker and is in excellent condition. The watch sits on what we believe is the original bracelet – it has the age reference code of ‘A’ which dates it to around 1976/77. It’s in excellent aesthetic condition but does has significant sag and stretch. We will include a new, super high quality black Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with steel Hirsch buckle (retail £250.00).

The Datejust has been Rolex’s best seller since it’s introduction in the 1950’s. We will give a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity and a 12 month guarantee on the movement.
