Sonning Vintage Watches

This is a beautiful example of the Rolex Explorer from February 2024 (Valentines Day :). We bought the watch from the original owner who wore it daily so it does have small signs of wear and scratches the case and bracelet consistent with careful use. I’ve tried to capture these on the photographs but happy to take more if required or send a WhatsApp video. In terms of provenance we have:

• The Rolex warranty card (new style)
• The original swing tag (with matching serial number) and chronometer chip
• The brochures and warranty card wallet
• The Rolex boxes – inner, outer and cardboard sleeve

Rolex give a 5 year warranty that is transferred with the watch so it’s covered until 14/2/29.

The Explorer has a wonderful heritage going back to the first successful ascent of Everest. It’s still a waiting list watch from Rolex and the marks and scratches are the same as anybody wearing a watch regularly and carefully.
