We are working with a UK based collector who has asked us to market a selection of his watches. As part of the offer each watch has had a full service and refurbishment by the UK’s leading watchmaker, Steven Hale Watch Restoration. Each watch will come with a 2 year guarantee from Steve Hale and a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity by Sonning Vintage Watches.
This is a simply beautiful example of the bull horn lugged Jaeger le Coultre Day, Date and Month wristwatch from the 1940’s. The solid steel case with the super desirable bull horn lugs is in excellent condition with only the most minimal signs of wear – it’s also 36mm across which for this period is very rare. The original ivory/cream Jaeger signed dial has been professionally refinished to the highest possible standards and is classically late art-deco. The rose gold hands and applied hour batons with numbers at the quarters and the extra large sub-second dial create a stunning look. The very high grade Jaeger signed manual wind movement is again in the excellent condition and has just been serviced by SHWR. The watch sits on a new, high quality dark tan calf skin strap with steel buckle.
I do have movement and inside case pictures but these were taken at SHWR on a mobile but happy to send them across if you’d like them.
