Outstanding 1987 Steel and Solid Gold Rolex Oyster Datejust Quick Date Set Full Set Gents Vintage Watch

The Overview

This is a beautiful example of the iconic Rolex Datejust from 1987. The steel and solid yellow gold (fluted bezel) case is in near faultless condition after a provenance polish (the crown, stem and lens have also been replaced with genuine Rolex parts). The stunning black Rolex signed dial is again in excellent condition and is a true statement. The very high grade Rolex signed chronometer standard automatic movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a new, super high quality black Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with gold plated Hirsch buckle. Very rarely we have the following provenance:

  • The original Rolex punched papers
  • The purchase receipt
  • A Goldsmiths service card from 1995
  • A Rolex service record from 2009
  • A service receipt from 2016

We do have a number of genuine Rolex boxes from this period and we’ll include one for a full price payment.

We’ll also give a 12 month guarantee on the movement in addition to our lifetime guarantee on the provenance and authenticity.
