This a beautiful example of the Rolex Datejust from 1977. The solid gold (fluted bezel) and steel case is as near faultless as can be with only the most minimal signs of wear. The original Rolex signed sigma champagne/copper dial is stunning – Sigma dials are very rare (denoted by the 2 ‘O’s either side of the ‘T Swiss T’ and means the applied hour batons and hands are solid 18ct gold. The chronometer standard Rolex signed automatic is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a new, super high quality, dark brown Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with gold plated Hirsch buckle.

The case measures 36mm across, excluding the Rolex signed crown and 43mm long including the lugs. The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’, ‘Patented Stainoless Steel’ and ‘1601’. The serial number is 5.08million dating it to 1977.
