We’re working with a local collector who has asked us to sell 4 of his watches and this is the first. The GMT ‘Batman’ was introduced in 2013 and replaced in 2019 by the Batgirl so this is an early one. Bought in August 2014, the watch has been worn regularly and carefully and never been polished. The case and bracelet does have surface scratches in line with this but they’re difficult to see with the naked eye – I’d be happy to send a WhatsApp video to give you a better idea (we can also have the watch and bracelet polished by Steven Hale Watch Restoration and this takes 3 weeks and costs £300). Our watchmaker has given a service and water proof test and we will give a 12 month warranty on it. In terms of provenance we have:

• The original Rolex warranty card
• The original brochures
• The original swing-tag and chronometer chip
• The original Rolex boxes – inner and outer
• The original purchase receipt (Goldsmiths)

The GMT, first introduced in 1956 and has always been a favourite with collectors and enthusiasts.
