This is a beautiful steel and solid gold (fluted bezel) 1974 Rolex Datejust. The solid steel and gold (yellow) gold case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original and very rare ‘Sigma’ dial is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear – there are a couple of marks on the dial and I’ve highlighted these on the 3rd picture. Sigma dials are denoted by two ‘0’s either side of the T Swiss T under the ‘6’ baton and means the applied hour batons and hands are solid 18ct gold so won’t tarnish. The original Rolex signed automatic movement is in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a new, super high quality, dark brown Hirsch ‘London’ alligator with gold plated Hirsch buckle.

The case measures 36mm across, excluding the Rolex signed crown and 42mm long including the lugs. The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’, ‘Patented Stainless Steel’ and ‘1601’. The serial number is 3.36million dating it to 1974.
