Remarkable 1944 Solid 18ct Gold Patek Philippe 509.151 with Extract and Patek Box

The Overview

Patek Philippe are quite simply the most famous and most prestigious watchmaker in the world. They have broken pretty much every record in terms of accuracy, price, rarity and waiting lists. Founded in 1839 they created many of the most famous watches in the world.

This is quite simply one of the most beautiful watches we’ve ever had. Made in 1944, the sculptured tank style case and untouched original Patek signed dial are magnificent. The solid 18ct yellow gold case is in excellent condition with only minor signs of wear – small ding on the top right of the case back on the non crown side. The original and beautifully aged Patek signed dial is showing wear and there’s a small piece of the ‘X’ missing – this is hard to see with the naked eye. I have done a WhatsApp video of the watch on my wrist if you’d like a copy please advise your number. The Patek signed manual wind movement is in excellent condition and has been serviced by our professional watchmaker – all numbers match the extract. The watch sits on a new, super high quality, dark brown Hirsch ‘London’ strap with Hirsch gold plated buckle. We also have the official Patek Philippe Extract of Archives and very rarely a genuine Patek Philippe box from this period.

Whilst not an everyday watch this is robust enough for regular wear. We will give a 12 month guarantee on the movement and a lifetime guarantee on the provenance and authenticity.
