The Omega day, date, month and moon phase is known as the Cosmic and was so far ahead of its time. It was made in steel, steel and gold and a very few in solid 18ct gold… This example was made in 1947 and the solid 18ct yellow gold case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original Omega signed dial has been professionally refinished to the highest possible standard and is remarkable – Omega have somehow created one of the most complicated dials look elegant and refined. The high grade Omega signed manual wind movement is again in very good condition and has just been serviced by SHWR. To complete this watch we’ve added a new, brown Hirsch crocodile skin strap with gold plated Hirsch buckle.
This is a genuinely rare and beautiful watch from one of horology’s finest watchmakers. Whilst this is a robust watch it’s not for everyday wear.
