This is a beautiful example of the Stainless Steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date dating from 1970. The solid steel case is in excellent condition with only the most minimal signs of wear. The original and very desireable ‘fat baton’ Rolex signed steel pearlesecent dial has been professionally refinished to the highest possible standard and is classically Rolex. The applied steel hour batons and steel hands flow into the dial and are perfectly framed by the smooth bezel – the steel Rolex signed screw down is working perfectly. The very high grade Rolex signed perpetual movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. To complete this beautiful watch we’ve added a new, high quality, Hirsch and Sonning Vintage Watches black crocodile skin strap with steel Hirsch buckle.
Watches of this quality and in this condition are extremely rare and highly sought after – if history is any judge they will only increase in value.
As mentioned, it has just been serviced by my watchmaker and, in view of the high-grade Swiss movement, I will include a 12 month guarantee on the movement.
