This is a beautiful example of the iconic Rolex Datejust from 1981. The steel and solid yellow gold (fluted bezel) is in excellent condition with only the most minimal signs of wear. The Rolex signed champagne slightly pearlescent ‘wide boy (larger batons) dial is again in excellent condition. The very high grade chronometer standard Rolex signed automatic is in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a super high quality dark brown Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with a Hirsch gold plated buckle. We’ve also had the Rolex signed crown, stem and tube replaced with genuine Rolex parts. Very rarely we have the original paperwork and box along with the brochure, leather wallet and chronometer chip – as few as 1 in 50 watches of this age have this. It’s also the quick date set model that allows the date to be changed without going round the dial twice.
