This is a beautiful example of the iconic Rolex Datejust  from 1970. The solid steel case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original and very rare Rolex signed silver textured dial is again in excellent condition and looks stunning – there is a small mark just above the ‘R’ of Rolex, this is a spec on the underside of the lens and our watchmaker will be removing this over the next couple of days. The super high grade chronometer standard movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. To complete this beautiful watch we’ve added a new, super high quality, Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap if required (retail £250).

In view of the condition and quality of the movement we will include a 12 month warranty.

The solid steel case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The case measures 36mm across, excluding the Rolex signed crown and 41mm long including the lugs. The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’, ‘ Stainless Steel Patented’, ‘1603’ and the age reference is ‘IV.70’ dating it to 1970.
