This is a stunning example of the iconic Rolex Datejust from 1987/89 (Rolex introduced letters to the serial number and this one is ‘R’ which covers the 3 years). The steel and solid 18ct gold (fluted bezel) case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original Rolex signed jet black with yellow gold applied batons and hands is in near faultless condition – any marks or specs are just reflections or dust (always difficult to take pictures of black dials – I have done a video and if you’d like it please advise your Whatsapp number). The very high grade chronometer standard Rolex signed automatic movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. To complete this beautiful watch we’ve added a new, super high quality, black Hirsch ‘london’ alligator strap with Hirsch gold plated buckle.
