This is a beautiful example of the iconic Rolex Datejust from 1972. Very rarely it has a grey linen dial – first we’ve seen (all the others are steel or champagne) and it’s the ‘Sigma’ dial so the hands and applied hour batons are solid white gold (never tarnish). The steel and solid white gold (fluted bezel) case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original chronometer standard Rolex signed movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a new, super high quality, black Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with steel Hirsch buckle.

In view of the quality of the movement we will include a 12 month warranty.

The steel and solid white gold (fluted bezel) case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The case measures 36mm across, excluding the Rolex signed crown and 43mm long including the lugs. The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’, ‘Patented Stainless Steel’, ‘1601’ and the age reference is ‘IV72’ dating it to 1972.
