This is a beautifully original example of a Rolex from the 1930’s. The solid silver case is in very good condition with some tarnishing and surface scratches. The original ivory/paper coloured Rolex signed dial is we believe untouched or refinished many years ago but we guarantee it’s the original dial. The painted hour numerals, sub-second dial and blued steel hands create a classically late art-deco loo. The original Rolex signed manual wind movement is again in very good condition and has been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker – watches of this age will gain/lose 60 to 90- seconds/day and whilst robust aren’t designed to be every day wearers. The watch sits on a new black calf skin strap with a genuine steel Rolex buckle from the 70’s/80’s (Rolex didn’t use the famous crown at this time).

In view of the quality and condition of the movement we will give a 12 month guarantee.

The solid silver case is in very good condition with some tarnishing and surface scratches. The case measures 25mm across, excluding the winding crown and 36mm long including the lugs. On the case back are the references ‘576 53359’ and the inside case back is signed ‘Rolex 7 World’s Records’, ‘Gold Medal Geneva Suisse’, ‘RWC Ltd’ and it has the appropriate hallmarks for solid silver.
