This is a wonderfully original example of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual from 1965. The steel and solid gold (bezel) is in overall excellent condition with only some minor signs of surface scratching. The original Rolex signed champagne linen dial is again in overall excellent condition with only some minor aging spots and slight clouding on the applied gold batons. The super high grade chronometer standard automatic movement is in excellent condition and has just been serviced by our professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a slightly used dark tan Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with a gold plated Hirsch buckle.

The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’, ‘Patented Stainless Steel’, ‘1005’ and the age reference is ‘11.65’ dating it to 1965.
