Rolex introduced the Submariner in 1953 and it has become one of the most famous and desirable watches in the World. In 2003 they created a 50th anniversary model with the maxi dial and green bezel insert. It’s become one of the most achievable and collectable Rolex sports watches and my first Submariner

This example was sold in 2010 by the Goldsmiths Group and is in excellent condition – minor mark on the shoulder of the lug (bottom right). Aside from that and after a Rolex service in May 2025 it’s in near faultless condition. The genuine Rolex green bezel is in excellent condition and the bracelet has 12 links. In terms of provenance we have:

• The Rolex warranty card
• The Rolex brochures
• The Rolex chronometer chip
• The Rolex box (no outer)
• The Rolex service card and original receipt

When Rolex service a watch they not only give a 2 year guarantee (runs to May 2027) but also confirm the provenance.
