This is a beautiful example of the iconic Rolex Datejust from 1961. The steel and solid white gold (fluted bezel) case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The stunning Rolex signed steel pearlescent dial is also in excellent condition – we believe this is the original dial and hasn’t been refinished but may been re-lumed (the lume plots are at the bottom of the dial). The Rolex signed chronometer standard automatic movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a new, super high quality black Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with a steel Hirsch buckle.

In view of the quality and condition of the movement we will give a 12 month guarantee.

The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’, ‘Patented Stainless Steel’ and ‘1601’. The age reference is II.61 dating it to 1961.
