This is a stunning example of the iconic Rolex Datejust from 1972 and extremely rarely it has the original dark blue dial. The steel and white gold (fluted bezel) case is in very good condition with only some relatively minor signs of wear and surface scratches. The original Rolex signed dark blue dial is again in excellent condition with only minor signs of wear – there are no published figures from Rolex with dial colour numbers but we’re lucky to find 1 or 2 a year. The super high grade chronometer standard automatic movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a new, super high quality, dark blue Hirsch London alligator with a Hirsch steel buckle.

In view of the quality and condition we will give a 12 month guarantee on the movement in addition to our lifetime guarantee on provenance and authenticity.
