SPARES OR REPAIR – 1920’s Solid 18ct Gold and Diamond Vacheron & Constantin Ladies Vintage Watch
We bought this watch in a package and our watchmaker feels it’s only good for spares or repair. We also can’t find the reference on Google.
The watch isn’t working and the minute hand is missing. The case is solid yellow gold and we believe the bezel is also solid gold but there isn’t a hallmark. We also believe the stones are genuine diamonds but we’re not a precious stone specialist. The bracelet again appears to be solid gold but again there’s no hallmark to confirm this but it is attached to the case on swinging lugs so my be covered by the 18ct gold hallmark on the inside case. The inside case and movement are both signed Vacheron & Constantin. The lens is also missing.
The case measures 24mm across excluding the crown and 42mm long including the lugs.
