Patek Philippe are quite simply the most famous and most prestigious watchmaker in the world. They have broken pretty much every record in terms of accuracy, price, rarity and waiting lists. Founded in 1839 they created many of the most famous watches in the world.

This is a beautiful example of the iconic Calatrava dating from 1951. The solid 18ct yellow gold case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear – sorry, there appears to be a scratch at the top of the case and this in fact a hair – happy to send a WhatsApp video if required. The original and untouched ivory/cream Patek signed dial does show signs of age and I’ve tried to capture these on the photographs. The super high grade manual wind Patek signed movement is in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by Steven Hale. The watch currently sits on a dark brown leather strap with non-Patek gold plated buckle. We have just received a new, dark brown Italian alligator strap and it will be fitted over the next few days.

The solid 18ct yellow gold case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear – sorry, there appears to be a scratch at the top of the case and this in fact a hair – happy to send a WhatsApp video if required. The case measures 32mm across, excluding the Patek Philippe signed winding crown and 38mm long including the lugs. The inside case is signed ‘Patek Philippe & Co Swiss’ and ‘422570 Ref 2429’.

As with the majority of pre-owned watches that are 10 years or older, this particular watch does not come with its paperwork or original box. The watch is 100% genuine and rest assured we provide a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity and provenance of all the watches we sell. We also have the Vacheron Extract of Archives.

Although there is no original paperwork, we do provide a written invoice and 3 page insurance valuation with the pictures of the watch and all available reference numbers. We also give a 24 month warranty via SHWR on all our watches.
