This is a beautifully original example of the iconic Rolex Datejust from 1970. The solid steel case is in very good condition with only some fairly minor signs of surface scratching – we can have the case polished if required and it takes 2 weeks. The original Rolex signed steel pearlescent dial is again in very good condition with some minor signs of marking that are hard to see with the naked eye (always happy to send a WhatsApp video if required). The super high grade Rolex signed chronometer standard automatic movement is again in very good condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a new, super high quality, black Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with Hirsch steel buckle. Very rarely we also the original Rolex punched paper guarantee along with the booklet and folder. As few as 1 in 50 watches of this age have the original paperwork.

In view of the condition and quality of the movement we will give a 12 month guarantee.

The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’, ‘Patented Stainless Steel’ and ‘1603’. The date reference is ‘11.70’ dating it to 1970.
