This is a beautiful example of the iconic Rolex Datejust from 1974. The solid steel case is in very good condition with some minor surface scratches and scuffs. The original Rolex signed jet black dial is immaculate and a creates a real statement. The very high grade chronometer standard movement is again in excellent condition and has a full service carried out by Rolex (£1,020) in January 2024 so is covered by Rolex until 29/2/26 (Sonning will give a 1 year guarantee from purchase to include the balance of the Rolex service). To complete this watch we’ve added a new, super high quality black Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with a steel Hirsch buckle. In terms of provenance we have:

• The original Rolex punched papers
• A genuine period correct Rolex box – inner and outer.
• The Rolex service card and receipt (we’ve also checked the serial number on the Rolex service database and it matches the watch and punched papers

To find any history on a watch of this age is rare so to find the original paperwork and a Rolex service gives complete peace of mind.

The solid steel case is in very good condition with some minor surface scratches and scuffs. The case measures 36mm across, excluding the Rolex signed crown and 43.5mm long including the lugs. The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’, ‘Patented Stainless Steel’ and ‘1603’.
