Rolex introduced the Deepsea in 2008 and in 2014 they released the ‘Deep Blue’ to commemorate James Cameron’s dive to the deepest point of the ocean in 2012. Incidentally it was the first and only watch Rolex have ever made with a specific person in mind. The deep blue top section and black lower represents the sea colour from the surface to the bed.

This example was sold in 2016 and has been worn regularly but carefully so does have surface scratches to the case and bracelet but the overall condition is very good. In terms of provenance we have:

• All the links
• The Rolex boxes, inner, outer and cardboard sleeve

The Cameron has shown excellent value increases and whilst we cannot guarantee future rises if history is any judge it’ll provide a stunning watch to wear as well a good investment.
