This is a beautiful example of the iconic Rolex Datejust from 1971 and, very rarely, it has the original and untouched grey pearlescent dial. The solid steel case is in excellent condition with only some minor surface scratching. The original and stunning Rolex signed grey pearlescent dial is again in excellent condition and looks stunning – the vast majority of dials from this period are steel or champagne. The super high quality chronometer standard Rolex signed automatic movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a new, super high quality, black Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with steel Hirsch buckle.

The solid steel case is in excellent condition with only some minor surface scratching. The case measures 36mm across, excluding the Rolex signed crown and 42mm long including the lugs. The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’, ‘Patented Stainless Steel’ and ‘1603’. The age reference is ‘111.71’ dating it to 1971.
