Circa 2005 Cartier Santos Demoiselle Quartz Small Case 2698 Ladies Vintage Watch

The Overview

We are working with a UK based collector who has asked us to market a selection of his watches. As part of the offer each watch has had a full service and refurbishment by the UK’s leading watchmaker, Steven Hale Watch Restoration. Each watch will come with a 2 year guarantee from Steve Hale and a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity by Sonning Vintage Watches. Being a quartz watch from this age we are unable to guarantee that it is waterproof but it will be fine for everyday wear with the odd splash.

Cartier, formed in 1847, are the most talked about watchmaker in the World right now and this early model sums up why they’re so sought after. The solid stainless steel case is in near flawless condition, complete with the distinctive blue sapphire-set winding crown. The watch sits on its original stainless steel Cartier Santos Demoiselle bracelet, which is also in excellent condition and a generous size at 185mm. The original Cartier signed silver dial is simply stunning, featuring the classic bold black Roman numerals, blued steel hands and signature inner minute track. The subtle Cartier signature incorporated into the Roman numeral at 10 o’clock is a lovely detail and adds to the charm of this beautiful original dial. The Cartier quartz movement offers excellent reliability and practicality, making this a wonderful watch for everyday wear. The watch comes with the red Cartier pouch and pillow.

An outstanding example of one of Cartier’s most elegant and instantly recognisable designs, combining timeless styling with the quality and craftsmanship for which this famous watchmaker is renowned.
