Patek Philippe are quite simply the most famous and most prestigious watchmaker in the world. They have broken pretty much every record in terms of accuracy, price, rarity and waiting lists. Founded in 1839 they created many of the most famous watches in the world.
This Tegolino was sold in 1949 and is just a stunning looking watch. The solid 18ct gold case is in very good condition with scratches and marks in line with regular but careful wear (we can have the case polished if required and it takes 3 weeks). The original and untouched Patek signed dial is again in very good condition but is showing some signs of aging – to the naked eye it looks fine and I have done a video (please advise your WhatsApp number for a copy). The super high grade manual wind movement is again in excellent condition and is currently being serviced by our watchmaker. The watch sits on a genuine dark tan Patek Philippe crocodile skin strap with solid 18ct gold Patek buckle. In terms of provenance we have a photocopy of the extract of archives from 2012. We also have a photocopy of a bill from a major overhaul in 2013 at a cost of £3,002…..
All Patek Philippes are masterpieces of design and craftmanship and to find one in this condition with an untouched dial and the extract of archives and major overhaul by Patek is just wonderful.
