This is a remarkable example of the Rolex Explorer 2 from 1987/89 – the serial number is ‘R’ which dates across these years. The steel case (40mm – the watch has been pressure sealed by SHWR and I’d be happy to have it opened for a serious buyer) is as close to perfect as possible with no signs of wear. The lume plots on the ‘rail’ dial have aged to a beautiful creamy colour and with the slim red arrow hand creates a stunning look.
