Collector Condition 1999 Rolex Submariner 14060 Full Set with 2 Rolex Services

The Overview

We bought this 14060 from the original owner who purchased it from Rolex Nottingham in 1999 so it’s one of the last. The solid steel case is in excellent condition but does have signs of fairly minor wear in line with occasional use. The movement is in excellent condition and has been serviced by Rolex in 2005 and 2012. Our watchmaker has also just serviced it and we will give a 12 month guarantee on it. It has the correct bracelet references of 93150 and 501B. Very rarely we have extremely comprehensive providence:

  • The original Rolex punched papers
  • The correct Rolex brochures (dated 1998)
  • 2 Rolex service records
  • The original and correct steel anchor
  • The original and correct Rolex box (inner and outer) and the correct ‘14060’ sticker on the outer box (these sell for £400 to £500 alone)

This is as good an example as we’ve ever had and the most comprehensive provenance.

The Conclusion

This is a rare and highly collectable vintage watch from one of horology’s most famous names and will, if history is any judge, provide an excellent financial investment as well as a possession to treasure and enjoy. I will provide an insurance valuation in excess of my asking price. Please appreciate the difficulty of photographing this piece, it looks even better in real life. Subject to your location I’ll happily show the watch.
