I love all the watches we find but every now and again we something super special and this ladies Vacheron Constantin is just such a piece. Vacheron are the oldest established watchmaker in the world and were formed in 1755 and their mantra is ‘Excellence, Now and Forever’. Aside from the unique history and highest grade of movements, this is a simply beautiful watch. Made in the 1920’s, the solid 18ct gold and diamond case and solid gold and diamond bracelet are in excellent condition – there is evidence of a small repair on the underside of one of the swinging lugs but this takes nothing away from the beauty and significance of this watch. The Vacheron signed dial is finished in a copper colour and has black Arabic hour numbers and outer railway line style minute markers. The beautifully ornate case with 4 diamonds at the quarters triangular shaped swinging lugs link to the solid gold ‘bar’ bracelet, again with diamonds at the joints. The original Vacheron signed manual wind movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker.
Watches of this quality and pedigree only surface a few times every year and there may be as few as 50 or less in the world….
As mentioned, it has just been serviced by my watchmaker and, in view of the high-grade Swiss movement, I will include a 12 month guarantee on the movement which is long enough for you to assess the working order.
