This is a beautiful example of the larger size (32mm case) steel Rolex Oyster from the 1930’s – due to their square shape they have become known as ‘cushion’ cases. The case has been re-chromed and whilst there’s some signs of corrosion it’s in overall excellent condition. The original ivory/cream Rolex signed dial has been professionally refinished to the highest standards and is classically styled for the period. The large green lume Arabic numbers along with the matching insert hands and sub-second create a stunning look. The manual wind movement is signed ‘Rolco’ (a shortened version version of Rolex Company) and were made by Aegler and Beguelin for Rolex in the early days. The movement’s in very good condition and has just been serviced by our watchmaker. To complete this beautiful watch we’ve added a new, dark blue leather strap with steel buckle.
We will give a 12 month guarantee on the movement and whilst robust this isn’t an everyday watch and will gain/lose 2 minutes per day.
