This is stunning example of the iconic Rolex Oyster Airking Precision dating from 1969. Very rarely it’s the ‘date’ version and in steel and gold (bezel and crown) which was a special order. The solid steel and gold (bezel) case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original Rolex signed champagne dial is untouched and again in excellent condition – we often have to refinish dials from this age due to heavy patina. The applied gold hour batons and gold hands flow into the dial and are perfectly framed by the solid gold fluted bezel. The high grade Rolex signed automatic movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. To complete this magnificent piece we’ve added a new, super high quality dark brown Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with Hirsch gold plated buckle.

In view of the high quality movement we will give a 12 month guarantee on it.

The solid steel and gold (bezel) case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The case measures 34mm across excluding the gold Rolex signed crown and 41mm long including the lugs. The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’, ‘Patented Stainless Steel’, ‘1500’ and the date reference is ‘111.69’ dating it to 1969.
