This is a beautiful example of the iconic Rolex Datejust from 1970. The solid steel case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear – the serial number is extremely difficult to read which happens when the bracelet rubs against the case so we’re unable to give it. The watch dates to 1970 and this is confirmed in the inside case back. The original Rolex signed steel satin dial is we believe untouched and in overall excellent condition but does some have some minor scratches (these are very hard to see without a loupe). The very high grade Rolex signed chronometer standard automatic movement is in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our watchmaker. To complete this stunning piece we’ve added a new, super high quality, black Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with a Hirsch steel buckle.

In view of the high quality movement we will give a 12 month guarantee on the watch.

The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’, ‘Patented’, ‘Stainless Steel’ and ‘1603’, The age reference is ‘11.70’ dating it to 1970.
