This is a beautiful example of the iconic Rolex Datejust from 1973. The steel and solid yellow gold (fluted bezel) case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original Rolex signed champagne pearlescent dial is untouched and again in excellent condition with some paint missing on the very outside in a few places (very hard to see with the naked eye). It’s also the sigma dial (denoted by the ‘O’ under the ‘6’ baton) meaning the applied batons and hands are solid yellow gold so won’t tarnish. The very high grade chronometer standard automatic movement is in very good condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. To complete this stunning watch we’ve added a new, super high quality, black Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with steel Hirsch buckle (retail cost £255.00).

In view of the very high grade movement we will give a 12 month guarantee on it.

The case measures 36mm across, excluding the Rolex signed crown and 42mm long including the lugs. The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’, ‘Patented Stainless Steel’, ‘1601’. The serial number is 3.6million dating it to 1973.
