This is a stunning example of the iconic Rolex Datejust from 1991. Very rarely it has one of the rarest and most desirable dial styles, the tapestry. The steel and solid 18ct gold (fluted bezel) case is in excellent condition with only very minor signs of wear. The original and untouched champagne ‘tapestry’ dial is again in excellent condition and looks fantastic. The super high grade chronometer standard movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a new, super high quality, dark brown Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with gold plated Hirsch buckle. In terms of provenance we have:
- The original Rolex punched papers
- The original Rolex brochures and Calendar
- The original Rolex boxes – inner and outer – with the correct model reference sticker
Finding any provenance from a watch of this age is rare but to find everything is extremely rare. In view of the quality and condition of the movement we will give a 12 month guarantee.
