Just Beautiful 2003 (F Serial) Rolex Submariner 16610LV Flat 4 Kermit Gents Watch

The Overview

This is a collector condition example of the highly desirable 50th Anniversary Rolex Oyster Submariner from 2003. The steel case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original Rolex signed black dial is of course untouched and in excellent condition – there is a small mark at the ’11’ baton on the bezel. The original steel Rolex bracelet is again in excellent condition and a good size. The watch was serviced by Rolex (October 2018) so it now has a 2 year guarantee from Rolex and confirmation of the model and serial number – it hasn’t been worn since the service and I’d be happy to open the case back for a serious enquiry. This particular example is the rarest of all the LV’s as for around 12 – 18 months the dial had 2 subtle differences to all the others – the ‘O’ in Rolex is slightly elliptical and the ‘Swiss Made’ goes across 5-minute markers rather than 4. It also has a flatter ‘4’ at the ’40’ on the bezel.

Whilst we do not have the original papers we do have:

  • The Rolex service papers
  • The Rolex box, inner and outer
  • A 16610LV swing tag and red chronometer chip
  • A Rolex Submariner brochure dated 2007
  • A 2003 Rolex calendar

Our watchmaker will give it a service in between sale and delivery and we will give a 12 month guarantee.
