This is a wonderful example of the iconic Rolex Datejust from 1969. The steel and solid yellow gold (fluted bezel) case is in excellent condition with only the most minimal signs of wear. The original Rolex signed steel pearlescent dial is in very good condition but there are some signs of patina – I’ve tried to capture these on the photographs and happy to send a WhatsApp video if required. They’re hard to see with the naked eye. The Rolex signed chronometer standard automatic is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a new, super high quality, dark brown Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with a gold plated Hirsch buckle.

In view of the quality of the movement we will give a 12 month guarantee.

The inside case is signed ‘Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland’, ‘Patented Stainless Steel’ and ‘1601’. The age reference is II.69 dating it to 1969.
