Outstanding 1984 Steel and Solid Gold Rolex Oyster Quick-Set Datejust Full Set Gents Vintage Watch

The Overview

This is a stunning example of the iconic Steel and Solid Gold (fluted bezel) Rolex Oyster Datejust from 1984 – it’s also the quick date set model. The steel and gold case is in near flawless condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original and untouched Rolex signed champagne pearlescent dial is again in excellent condition – there’s a small white dot just over the ‘superlative’ on the dial – this is a mark on the camera and not the dial. The super high grade chronometer Rolex signed automatic movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker. The watch sits on a new, super high quality, dark brown Hirsch ‘London’ alligator strap with gold plated Hirsch buckle. Very rarely we have fantastic provenance on this watch – as few as 1 in 40 or so have any history:

  • The original Rolex punched papers
  • The original Rolex brochures and Wallet with the serial number on
  • A Rolex service from 2009

In view of the quality and condition of the movement we will give a 12 month guarantee in addition to our lifetime guarantee on the provenance and authenticity.
