Patek Philippe are quite simply the most famous and most prestigious watchmaker in the world. They have broken pretty much every record in terms of accuracy, price, rarity and waiting lists. Founded in 1839 they created many of the most famous watches in the world.
This particular model was made in the 1960’s and would’ve originally been a good size gents watch at 33mm across excluding the Patek signed crown. I mention this just so potential buyers check the size before buying as it’s a relatively small man’s watch or large size ladies. The solid 18ct yellow gold case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original slightly off-white Patek signed dial is untouched and in excellent condition. The applied yellow gold stick batons and hands along with the sub-second dial create the classic Patek look of elegance. The extremely high grade Patek signed manual wind movement is again in excellent condition and has just was serviced by Steven Hale Watch Restoration in 2024 – SHWR are the country’s best watchmaker and it would’ve cost in the region of £850. Very rarely we also have a nearly new black Patek alligator strap with solid 18ct Yellow gold Patek buckle – this would retail at around £950.
In view of the condition and quality of the movement we will give a 12 month guarantee. Our watchmaker has checked the movement and it’s in perfect working order.
