Patek Philippe are quite simply the most famous and most prestigious watchmaker in the world. They have broken pretty much every record in terms of accuracy, price, rarity and waiting lists. Founded in 1839 they created many of the most famous watches in the world.
This is a wonderful example of the larger size Patek Philippe from 1960. Measuring just under 35mm excluding the Patek Philippe signed winding crown when the average size of Patek at this time was 32/33mm….. The solid 18ct yellow gold Patek signed case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original and untouched Patek signed steel/silver dial is in excellent condition with only minor signs of fading around some of the batons – ‘3’ and ‘5’ in particular but this is hard to see with the naked eye. The super high grade Patek signed manual wind movement is again in excellent condition and has just been fully serviced by our professional watchmaker (the movement pictures were taken by our watchmaker). The watch sits on a new black Patek Philippe crocodile skin strap with new solid 18ct gold Patek signed buckle (£1,150…). We also have a genuine period correct Patek box (scabby on the inside) with the cardboard outer box. We also have the Patek Philippe Extract of Archives.
This is a stunning example of a large size Patek from this period. In view of the quality and condition of the movement we will give a 12 month guarantee.
I’ve struggled to capture the beauty of this watch and if you’d like a wrist video please advise your WhatsApp number.
