IWC are one of the most respected watchmakers in the World. Founded in 1868, it has become a Premier League brand for both the super quality movements and classic design. This 1947 IWC dress watch sums up the brand. The beautiful solid 18ct yellow gold case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. We believe the original ivory/cream dial is untouched but we do guarantee it’s original to the watch. The applied gold hour batons and original gold plated hands create a classically elegant look. With the domed lens it’s a difficult watch to capture and the first picture is the clearest representation – I have done a What’s App wrist video. The original IWC signed manual wind movement is in excellent condition and has just been serviced by SHWR. To complete this beautiful piece we’ve put the watch on a new, dark brown Hirsch croco-grain strap with yellow gold plated Hirsch buckle.
