Stunning 1954 Solid 9ct Gold Oversize Linen Dial Rolex Precision Wristwatch

The Overview

Rolex made some of the most beautiful dress watches in the world during the 1940’s and 1950’s. They have become some of the most collectable and sought after watches in our range. Many were 30mm across the case, known as mid-size, and 33mm known as full size. Just a few are known as oversize which is 34 or 35mm across the case excluding the winding crown and very occasionally 36m…

This 36mm Rolex Precision is stunning. The solid 9ct yellow case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear. The original very slightly off-white Rolex signed linen (textured) dial has been professionally refinished to the highest possible standards and is beautifully understated – there are a couple of very minor marks just above the ‘S’ of shock resisting and to the left – we use macro photography and the marks are hard to see with the naked eye. The very high grade Rolex signed manual wind movement is again in excellent condition and has just been serviced by our professional watchmaker. We have added a very slightly used (used a couple of times for photographs only) dark brown Hirsch London alligator strap with aftermarket Rolex buckle (if this sells on EBAY we’ll need to courier this separately).

If you’d like a wrist video please advise your WhatsApp number and we will also include a 12 month guarantee on the movement.
