Stunning 1970 Rolex Oyster GMT 1675 Pepsi Gents Vintage Watch

The Overview

This is a stunning example of the iconic Rolex GMT Master 1675 from 1970. The solid steel case is in excellent condition with only the most minor signs of wear – there are 2 marks on the outside caseback were it looks as though someone’s tried to open it without the correct tool. The original Rolex signed dial is of course untouched and as beautiful as we’ve ever seen – the lume has turned a beautiful shade of ivory which matches the hands – there is some lume missing on the ‘9’ and ’12’ baton. The Pepsi bezel insert will almost certainly have been replaced but looks as though it was many years ago. We have added a period (& genuine) Rolex Oyster bracelet dating from 1988 (the clasp code is ‘M8’ and the end piece reference is 595/93150) and is in excellent condition. The watch had a full restoration by one of the best watchmakers in the world, Stephen Hale Watch Restoration in 2019 at a cost of over £1,300. Our watchmaker has also just serviced it and it comes with a 12 month guarantee.
